This online resource, a project between the Alameda County (Calif.) StopWaste Partnership and the Reusable Pallet & Container Coalition, helps companies find sources for reused shipping and packaging materials, as well as creating a market for reusable pallets, which can save significant costs as well as reduce the environmental impact of shipping needs.

Disposable wood pallets and corrugated cardboard boxes comprise a significant amount of the waste generated by businesses in Alameda County. Because there is limited and expensive landfill space left, we need to reduce the amount of garbage we send there.
