This guide is one in a series of technology roadmaps created by HUD's Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) to help the housing industry make decisions about research and development investments that improve the value and affordability of new and existing homes. This document focuses on improving energy efficiency in existing housing by promoting new technologies, evaluating products and processes for retrofit, building capabilities among trade contractors, and identifying potential consumer incentives.
