The Engineering Guide to LEED-New Construction provides and overview of LEED-NC and how to implement it in construction work.

This book looks at the main concepts of sustainability, and also presents detailed equations and exercises that can be used to perform the calculations outlined in LEED-NC. It covers all aspects of green building, including sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality and innovations in design.

The author, Liv Haselbach, is a faculty member in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of South Carolina and is a licensed engineer and U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional with 30 years of experience in the field.
