The Arlington Green Home Choice Program, based on the Earthcraft House rating system, encourages homebuilders to build green and provides a listing of building techniques and components that result in a more efficient and healthy home. Participants can certify new homes by incorporating a range of green components. Participating builders are given priority in the plan review process, marketing materials to promote their participation in the program, and access to county-sponsored training.
